and more
Drop off and pick up days for training horses are scheduled for Monday through Saturday.
We try to work with everyone's schedules. We are closed on Sundays.
We prefer horses in training have their dental work up to date and wolf teeth removed before arriving for training.
Not sure what wolf teeth are or why we recommend them to be removed, you can read a great article about it Here
We also highly recommend having your horse tested for genetic diseases that interfere with the training process.
Such as PSSM1, MYHM, HERDA, MH and HYPP.
We use and trust UC Davis Veterinary Genetics Laboratory's 6 Panel Genetic disease test
for testing on all of our personal horses. Which includes testing for PSSM1, MYHM, HERDA, MH, HYPP, and GBED.
If you are not familiar with any of the equine genetic diseases mentioned above, there is a lot of great information available on the UC Davis website about these diseases and the panel test they offer. You can read more about them Here
